The DA 4K Program Partners Forum with Local Government Units all over the country, National Commission on Indigenous Peoples, and the 4K Regional focal persons was conducted to measure the capacity of the IPOs in relation to managing and sustaining development interventions provided to them. It also served as a venue to present the updated guidelines on the 4K Program components such as the conduct of Social Preparation and Livelihood and Enterprising activities.
The activity aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of partners and stakeholders about the Program to achieve the following:
1. Level off understanding, expectations, and partner roles and responsibilities in implementing the 4K Program;
2. Gather insights on how to further improve the management and implementation of the 4K Program within their respective areas of operation; and,
3. Generate support from Program partners and relevant stakeholders on the sustainability of 4K Program interventions.
The main highlight of the activity is the leveling off between the Program and LGUs and gaining the commitment of the LGU present in the forum to provide the necessary support to sustain whatever the Program has provided to them and assist the program in “Responding to the needs of the IPs/ICCs towards satisfaction.”
