The 4K Program CY 2025 Plan and Budget Preparation Workshop, brought together the 4K Program focal persons, report officers, and technical staff from regions CAR to 13 except region 8. The primary objective of the workshop was to develop the program’s budget proposals for the CY 2025, aligning them with the strategic goals of the Department of Agriculture (DA) for national development.
The workshop commenced with an overview of the 4K Program and its contribution to the secretary’s three-year plan for the department.
In this workshop, participants were tasked with formulating a budget proposal for their respective region for CY 2025, focusing on key areas such as social preparation, production and livelihood, and marketing. Meanwhile, facilitators and panelists provided comments and guidance on budget planning, resource allocation, and performance indicators. Following the presentations, all budget proposals were reviewed and consolidated to ensure the 4K alignment with the DA’s strategic objectives.
In conclusion, the 4K Program CY 2025 Plan and Budget Preparation Workshop served as a platform for dialogue, innovation, and strategic planning for the 4K Program. By bringing together different perspectives, the workshop contributed to the formulation of a complete budget proposal that will drive sustainable development and prosperity in indigenous communities across the Philippines.
