LOOK: The Department of Agriculture – Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran ng Kababayang Katutubo (DA 4K) NPMO, together with the implementers, DA 4K Region 1, conducted a field visitation to monitor and assess the progress of ongoing and completed projects in Kankana-ey & Bago ICC in Palina, Pugo, La Union, and I-OWAK ICC in Fianza, San Nicolas, Pangasinan, from May 13 to 17, 2024.
During the visit in Pugo, La Union, they highlighted one of the interventions that were given to them, which is the pump and engine for irrigation. They use it as a multi-purpose tool and adapted it for pesticide spraying, concrete mixing, or ‘kuliglig.’
During the visit in Fianza, San Nicolas, Pangasinan, what caught our attention was that they have bookkeeping where they keep records and data for backtracking. RFO 1 hope to provide more training in this community to improve and enhance their bookkeeping.
