𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃: The Department of Agriculture, Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran ng Kababayang Katutubo (4K) Program conducted its 4th Quarter Performance and Budget Utilization Review Workshop from December 9-13, 2024, at Eurotel, North Edsa, Quezon City.
The workshop aimed to review the performance of all 4K Regional Program Management Offices across the country. It focused on assessing each region’s physical and financial targets and progress in the fourth quarter. The review also highlighted the challenges faced by the implementers and discussed how they are addressing these issues.
During the workshop, 4K implementers were recognized for their hard work and dedication. An open forum allowed each region to share their annual performance and discuss the challenges they encountered. Some regions also shared their proposals and solutions, working together to find ways to solve the problems faced throughout the year.
After the workshop, awards were presented to recognize the hard work and achievements of the regions for their physical and financial accomplishments in both the 3rd quarter and the entire year.
A pledge of commitment for 2025 was also made, where 4K program personnel committed to working hard to meet the targets. These includes the following:
• 241 training sessions
• training 215 Indigenous Peoples Organizations
• involving 14,037 Indigenous Peoples participants
• covering 130 Ancestral Domains
• supporting 140 IPO recipients
• implementing 314 sub-projects
This pledge serves as proof of unwavering dedication to meeting these goals, aligning efforts with the broader mission of making a meaningful impact on Indigenous Peoples’ lives.
This assessment was a valuable opportunity to strengthen the program and ensure its success in the future.
